Logistics Companies is a freight forwarding and contract logistics business. Everything on this page can be evidenced during a tender; anything that could not be evidenced has been left off.
Operating principles
Asset-light by design
We do not own trucks, aircraft, vessels or terminals. We contract capacity from vetted carriers and facility operators and stay accountable for the movement end to end. That is stated plainly here because procurement teams find it out anyway.
One accountable desk
Each account is run by a named coordinator with a named deputy. Escalation goes to a person, not a queue. Handover notes travel with the file so a covering colleague can pick it up without re-interviewing you.
Written scope before movement
Nothing moves on a verbal. Scope, Incoterm, responsibility for loading and unloading, and the documentation set are confirmed in writing on every booking, including repeat lanes.
Evidence over adjectives
Where we hold a certification, licence or insurance cover, the certificate is provided on request during tender. Where we do not hold one, we say so rather than implying it through design.
Due diligence
Procurement teams normally ask for the same pack. Request it from the tender desk and we will send what we hold, with dates.

- Any certification we hold, supplied as the certificate itself rather than a badge
